PURPOSE: A counterfeit bill sensor for sensing counterfeit bills with magnetic materials is provided to detect counterfeit bills having a hidden magnetic substance, thereby identifying counterfeit bills. CONSTITUTION: A counterfeit bill sensor for sensing counterfeit bills with magnetic materials comprises a magnet holder to support a magnet arranged at a position of bills having hidden magnetic materials and to enable a user to lift the counterfeit bill sensor; a plurality of magnets (14-16) supported by the magnet holder and arranged at positions in accordance with the positions of the hidden magnetic materials while moving in the magnetic holder.
