PURPOSE: A welding apparatus is provided to heat a part around a welding part with performing welding. CONSTITUTION: A welding apparatus comprises a welding machine, and a rail (6). The rail is placed on the welding surface of a steel plate, and moves the welding machine on the welding surface. The body of the rail comprises a fixing member (11), a support member (12), and a heating member (13). The support and fixing members are non-conductors, and a ferromagnetic body is coated on the outer surface of the fixing member. The heating member comprises a coil that inductively heats steel plates, and comprises a coolant path (135) inside.
