PURPOSE: A method of a battery pack volt balance, and an apparatus thereof are provided to protect a battery pack by preventing a rush current which can be generated during the replacement and enlargement of battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack set (102, 104, 106) is connected in parallel. Input terminals (110, 112) are connected to the battery pack set electrically. A balance circuit (100) reduces a voltage deviation between battery packs by limiting the current amount flowing between the battery packs. The balance circuit comprises a voltage sensor 1 (120), a voltage sensor 2 (122), multiple switches (130, 132, 134, 136), multiple resistances (140, 142, 144, 146), and a control unit (150). The multiple switches perform an opening and closing operation by being controlled by the control unit.
