The invention relates to a novel bone-fixation device for various uses which is based on a C-clamp which can be used for skeletal traction or for reducing fractures, which includes a novel opening tensor especially designed to enable easier handling of the aforementioned bone-fixation device, specifically for controlled opening and closing of the arms of the C. The devices according to the invention are used in bone-supported fixation for immobilising displaced fractures and the like.
