摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve discovery rate of an object on the sea. <P>SOLUTION: A control apparatus has: a course control unit 20 that, in a prescribed width in a direction intersecting the travelling direction of an escort ship, causes an unmanned airplane to travel in the direction intersecting the travelling direction of the escort ship, and causes the unmanned airplane to travel in the travelling direction of the escort ship for only a prescribed distance after the unmanned airplane travelled across the prescribed width; a sea sweeping unit 22 that performs sea sweeping by moving the imaging direction of an optical sensor provided on the unmanned airplane in a lateral direction to the travelling direction of the unmanned airplane in a period when the unmanned airplane travels in the direction intersecting the travelling direction of the escort ship; and a route determination unit 23 that calculates a prescribed distance on the basis of the velocity of the unmanned airplane, the velocity of the escort ship and the length of the prescribed width so that a route off set as a distance of the travelling direction of the escort ship and the unmanned airplane becomes constant, and that determines a flight path of the unmanned airplane on the basis of the prescribed distance thus calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
