VERTICAL AGITATOR IN COHESIVE AREA OF PURIFICATION PLANT

PURPOSE: A vertical agitator in a cohesive area of a water purification plant is provided to reduce frictional force between a stirring unit and raw water and to prevent a rising of a management cost and unnecessary power consumption by driving the stirring unit by using a cylinder with small power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A vertical agitator in a cohesive area(3) of a water purification plant comprises a cylinder fixing unit, multiple cylinders, and multiple agitating units. The cylinder fixing unit is installed to cross an upper side of a water channel in a cohesive area in order to detachably install multiple cylinders. A cylinder generates power necessary to ascend and to descend agitating units into raw water within a predetermined depth range with a fixed time interval. Agitating units generate flocs of a big and heavy particle chunk with large amounts by regularly mixing/agitating a water processing drug in the raw water. [Reference numerals] (4.)
