TISSUE-SPECIFIC PROMOTER DERIVED FROM ORYZA SATIVA AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A promoter and a transformant which is prepared using a recombinant containing the same is provided to be expressed in a scutellum or scutellum-derived meristem of Oryza sativa seeds, and to regulate seed-specific material production, quiescence, germination, and growth. CONSTITUTION: A promoter for target protein-specific expression in a scutellum or a scutellum-derived meristem of Oryza sative seeds contains a base sequence in sequence number 1. A recombinant expression vector contains the promoter and a structural gene which encodes a target protein and is operatively linked. A transformant is prepared by transformation by the vector and is Agrobacterium tumefaciens. A transgenic plant is transformed by the vector or the transformant. The transgenic plant is Oryza sativa.
