<p>A hurricane resistant unit curtain wall comprises unit curtain wall blocks formed by mullions, transoms and glass panels (8). Each mullion is formed by a male mullion and a female mullion (1, 2) in plug connection. After being in plug connection, the male mullion and the female mullion (1, 2) made of closed cavity sections are fixed and connected by a hook plate (11). Each transom is formed by an upper transom and a lower transom (3, 4) in plug connection and with a middle transom (5) in between. A tilting adhesive tape (12) is set for sealing on the top of the upper transom (3) along the whole length direction. The glass panel (8) is made of SGP anti-rebellion film doubling tempered glass. The glass panel (8) of each unit curtain wall block is assembled with the mullions, the upper and the lower transoms (3, 4) and the middle transoms (5), and then adhered together by structural adhesive (6). Then buckle covers (9) of the lower transoms and buckle covers (10) of middle transoms are respectively assembled. The unit curtain wall has rational structural design and convenient manufacture and installation. Besides the enhancement of hurricane resistance and impact resistance, construction cost is reduced, and the requirement for rapid development of curtain wall constructions in hurricane prone regions is met.</p> |
