The device has a flexible element (4) formed from a resilient material and comprising a passage area (A1) that is arranged in a spacing upstream to another passage area (A2). Flow guide elements are arranged at an inner circumference of the element and extend in a direction of a flowing gas along a flow axis (S). The latter passage area is reducible with respect to the former passage area. The guide elements are coupled with the element such that the guide elements are not extended in the flowing gas direction when reducing the latter passage area with respect to the former passage area.
