PURPOSE: A traffic accident preventing method and apparatus, which can prevent pedestrian from traffic accident by checking position via pedestrian's and vehicle's terminal and predicting danger for notification via mobile radio communications network are provided. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle's terminal device (140, 150) and a pedestrian's mobile terminal (130) can periodically transmits a message of the current traveling state information including position information to mobile radio communications network, and the mobile radio communication network can process the transmitted messages to broadcast to cells near a vehicle or pedestrian (110). A vehicle's terminal device (140, 150) and pedestrian's mobile terminal (130) which received a message can check surrounding situation to calculate the possibility of collision and inform user or transmits an emergency message (120, 160, 170), which will be arriving at the expected collision object, to mobile radio communications network (100). |
