Insulated exhaust pipe for a combustion engine

The pipe has an outer pipe part covering an exhaust gas conveying inner pipe part with certain distance. A micro-porous flowable or pourable insulating material is filled into a gap between inner and the outer pipe parts, where the exhaust gas pipe is hydroformed after filling of the insulating material. A gap volume of the gap is reduced by hydroformation.
