PURPOSE: A terminal for performing content synchronization and an operating method of the same are provided to perform improved synchronization of user-centered contents. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communications unit performs content synchronization with a synchronization service providing server(200). A synchronization information storing unit stores first synchronization information. The first synchronization information includes a first synchronization item about deletion after completing content play. A content storing unit stores contents. In case the first synchronization item is activated, a control unit deletes the contents if the content play is completed. The control unit prevents synchronization with the synchronization service providing server about the contents.
