A METHOD FOR WELDING A MOTOR CASE BY FRICTION SURFACE PROCESSING

PURPOSE: A method for welding a motor case using a friction surface process is provided to fiction stir weld the ends of an inner case and an outer case using a tool with a shoulder in which a spiral recessed groove is formed. CONSTITUTION: A method for welding a motor case is as follows: a step of forming the motor case by assembling inner and outer cases; and a step of welding a boundary part of the inner and outer cases on both ends of the motor case by friction stir welding using a shoulder with a spiral recessed groove extended from the center to the edge of a welding part.
