Inductive pressure sensor

The sensor (1) has a stack comprising a target layer (305), an elastically deformable layer (304) made of compressible material e.g. elastomer foam, and a coil (303) connected to a power supply by a connector. The coil comprises two conductive layers (303', 303'') that are electrically connected with each other, and an insulating layer (306) that is made of an electrically insulating material e.g. polyester or polyamide. The target layer and the conductive layers are made of an electrically conductive material e.g. copper, and the insulating layer is arranged between the conductive layers.
