The endoprosthesis of the ankle joint with the substitution of the defect in the distal division of tibia consists of the hinged tibial and ankle components made of biocompatible material. The movement mechanism is designed as the cylindrical hinge with the metal shaft immobilized in the clip of the ankle component passed through the polyethylene bushings in the fork of the tibial component allowing for the movements in the sagittal plane. |
