PURPOSE: A system parameter setting device of a base station and a mobile communication system therefor are provided to automatically set main system parameters by considering a circumjacent wireless environment in a base station using a technology such as LTE(Long Term Evolution) and LTE-A(Advanced). CONSTITUTION: A circumjacent base station information collecting unit(210) analyzes the circumjacent base station information of other base stations which are adjacent to one base station. A system parameter setting unit(220) confirms an operation mode based on the circumjacent base station information. The system parameter setting unit sets a system parameter according to the confirmed operation mode. The circumjacent base station information indicates the existence of the circumjacent base station generating an interference signal.
