<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system capable of functional restoration even after the execution of protection operation by double protection, without requiring a new harness. <P>SOLUTION: The battery system includes: a battery pack; a first controller for reading in voltage information of the voltage of the battery pack; a second controller, including communication means between with the first controller, for receiving voltage information of the battery pack from the first controller through the communication means, and for comparing the voltage information with a preset threshold to decide abnormality; a switch circuit for switching ON/OFF the power of the first controller; and a protection circuit for measuring the voltage of the battery pack and for switching the switch circuit OFF on deciding voltage abnormality. By the power ON/OFF operation of the first controller, functional restoration after the protection operation is easy, without requiring a new communication harness for the protection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
