<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a structure holding stably an inner column on an inner diameter side of an outer column. <P>SOLUTION: An outer column 13d and a movable side bracket 22b are bulging-molded integrally by a hydroform method or the like. Respective protrusions 23a, 23a forming a support part 26 of the outer column 13d are abutted against the outer peripheral surface of the inner column 14c only at three circumferential places. In the width direction outer surfaces of plate parts 25a, 25a to be caught of the movable bracket 22b, around an axial intermediate part of a column side through-hole 30, projections 31 are provided while projecting in width directions from both width direction outer surfaces. In the assembly state, the width direction inner surfaces of support plate parts 28, 28 of a fixed side bracket 12b are abutted against the width direction outer surfaces of the projections 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
