<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor water level gauge for directly measuring a water level in a lower part of a core inside of the core without adding a through hole to a reactor bottom part of a reactor pressure container. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor water level gauge for measuring a water level of cooling water inside of a pressure container 1 of a boiling-water reactor comprises a reactor inside instrument housing 9 which is fixed through a container wall surface to a bottom part of the pressure container, a neutron detection pipeline 11 inserted to the reactor inside instrument housing, a plurality of cooling water detectors 14 disposed at a plurality of height positions inside of the neutron detection pipeline and lower than a lower end of a core, and cooling water through holes 18, 19 provided in both the reactor inside instrument housing 9 and the neutron detection pipeline 11 at positions lower than the plurality of height positions where the cooling water detectors are disposed.
