<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge capable of resetting a memory of an IC chip when replacing a liquid storage container, and capable of using a general-purpose tank. <P>SOLUTION: The ink cartridge includes the liquid storage container and a container holder. When a bottom part of the liquid storage container (20) is detachably fitted to the container holder in the state that the container holder (30) is attached to a cartridge holder, a locking lever part (31) of the container holder is locked to a locking lever part (21) of the liquid storage container, and a mount (34) of the container holder is rocked, and thereby, a contact point of the IC chip (40) is electrically connected to a carriage side contact point, and individual data of the liquid storage container can be stored in the memory of the IC chip. When the bottom part of the liquid storage container is detached from the container holder, the mount is rocked and returned, and thereby, the contact point of the IC chip and the carriage side contact point are electrically disconnected, and the memory of the IC chip is reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
