<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate positional information of a terminal per se only with received radio waves from a signal transmitter and while reducing computational complexity. <P>SOLUTION: A positional information signal receiving section 106 receives, from a plurality of signal transmitters turning main lobes of directional antennas in the same direction, positional information signals indicating positions where the signal transmitters are present. Furthermore, an ellipse calculation section 108 calculates an elliptical shape including the positions indicated by the positional information signals received from the plurality of signal transmitters by the positional information signal receiving section 106.
