A starch modified by means of propylene oxide and possessing an average molecular weight (weight average) of 50 to 2500 kDa and a propylene oxide content of 0.1 to 20.0 weight % (based on the weight of the propylene oxide-modified starch) is suitable for improving artificial colourings of colour-imparting compounds on keratin fibres, more particularly human hair. |
