<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure easy removal of a plug from a plug receiving part. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle illumination device includes: a battery; a plug receiving part 15 to receive a plug 30 to supply power to be charged to the battery or the plug 30 to receive the power discharged from the battery; a lid 16 to shut the plug receiving part 15; and an illumination 17 that shines on the plug receiving part. The illumination 17 is lit, when the lid 16 is opened and the plug 30 is not received in the plug receiving part 15. When the lid 16 is opened and the plug 30 is received to the plug receiving part 15, the illumination 17 is lit by the illumination intensity that is lower than the illumination intensity of the illumination 17 when the lid 16 is opened and the plug 30 is not received by the plug receiving part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
