PURPOSE: An image formation device and a channel management method thereof are provided to prevent the problem of stability and service delay generated in the usage of multiple channels by using Wi-Fi direct connection and infrastructure network connection. CONSTITUTION: A channel management unit(837) confirms a channel using connection between a duplexer and an AP(Access Point) of an infrastructure network from a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) connection management unit(831) and a Wi-Fi direct operation channel used in Wi-Fi direct connection from a Wi-Fi direct connection management unit(832). The channel management unit sets the channels. When the channels are set, the Wi-Fi direct connection management unit activates a Wi-Fi direct operation channel by using a Wi-Fi direct library unit(834).
