FIELD: weapons and ammunition.SUBSTANCE: armour-piercing tracer bullet contains a bimetallic shell with a head cone-shaped part, a hard-alloy core, and a cup with tracer composition. The hard-alloy core has a sharpened head and cylindrical tail parts. The core and the cup are placed in a bimetallic shell. The cylindrical part of the core is placed in a lead jacket. The weight of the core is (0.37-0.45) the bullet weight, and the weight of the lead jacket is (0.05-0.5) the bullet weight. The pointed head part of the core is made in the form of a cone and has blunting of the core top (0.005-0.13)d. The hard-alloy core length is equal to (2.02-2.54)d, the diameter of the cylindrical part of the core is equal to (0.71-0.86)d, the length of pointed head part of the core is equal to (0.58-1.25)d, the length of the bullet is (4.5-5.1)d, where d is the bullet caliber.EFFECT: increased grouping of shots and penetrating action.2 dwg |
