WATER PURIFYING DEVICE, AND MAINTENANCE SYSTEM FOR SAME

[Problem] To adequately preserve the maintenance of a water purifying device equipped with a pre-filter and a main filter by accurately ascertaining the clogging state of the pre-filter, predicting the replacement time of the pre-filter, and replacing the pre-filter at an appropriate time. [Solution] A maintenance system for a water purifying device has: a current detecting unit which detects variations in a drive current of a pressure pump for applying pressure to water such that the water is supplied to the main filter, said water having exited the pre-filter after having been subjected to the first stage of purification; and a data monitoring controller for monitoring data obtained by the current detecting unit. The data monitoring controller is used to ascertain the clogging state of the pre-filter, and to predict the replacement time of the pre-filter.
