<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte material for a fuel cell, having sufficiently high proton conductivity under a low humidity condition and sufficiently improving high power generation efficiency under a low humidity condition. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte material for the fuel cell contains a bottleneck type silica meso porous body having bottleneck type pores satisfying such conditions that the pore inlet diameter and the pore inside diameter have the conditions (A) and (B): [condition (A)] pore inside diameter is 1.5-30 mm, [condition (B)] the ratio of the pore inlet diameter to the pore inside diameter ([pore inlet diameter]/[pore inside diameter]) is 0.05-0.95, wherein an organic group having an ion exchangeable functional group is introduced in the pores. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
