<p>PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to correct inputted RGB data signals to correspond to color filters arranged in zigzag, thereby improving image quality. CONSTITUTION: An input part supplies input data to pixels corresponding to color filters of odd-numbered and even-numbered horizontal lines. A data conversion part(140) corrects the input data by applying rendering filter values which are different for each odd-numbered and even-numbered horizontal line, to the input data. A control part aligns the corrected data from the data conversion part to correspond to the format of a liquid crystal display panel(100). A data driving part drives the liquid crystal display panel by supplying the aligned data from the control part to the data line of the liquid crystal display panel.
