A foamable resole resin composition comprises a resole resin, a blowing agent, a surfactant and a dispersed metal powder which is zinc, iron, magnesium, calcium and/or barium, the composition being curable to a non- corrosive foam. Methods for preparing, foaming and curing said non-corrosive foams are disclosed. |
