A post driver comprising a frame, the frame comprising attachment means for mounting the post driver; a mast supported by the frame and adapted to allow a weighted member to travel up and down; at least two independently operable legs; and positioning means for enabling the position of the mast to be optimised and adapted for alignment with a post to be driven; wherein the positioning means comprises a side shift and a backshift; and the mast is provided on an opposite side of the frame to the attachment means. Also described herein are a method for driving a post using the post driver and a vehicle comprising the post driver. <Figure 1>
