The subject matter of the present invention is a galvinoxyl derivative chemically known as 2,6-di-t-butyl-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-oxo-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-ylidene)-p-tolylhydroxy and represented by formula (I), for use thereof in the treatment of diseases caused by lipoprotein-enveloped viruses (LEVs), and in particular with respect to the herpesviruses. Said galvinoxyl derivative can furthermore be associated with propolis. |
