<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter, an information processor, and an operating frequency control method for saving power consumption by optimizing a data transfer speed and a circuit operation by flow control on the basis of credit base design. <P>SOLUTION: The data transmitter is provided with: a transmission means for transmitting data to a data receiver; a reception means for receiving information transmitted from the data receiver which is related with a data amount receivable by the data receiver; and a frequency control means for controlling an operating frequency corresponding to the transfer rate of data transmission by a transmission means. The frequency control means is configured to decrease an operating frequency value until values of a transmission time and a reception time become equal when the transmission time required for the transmission means to transmit the data having the data amount receivable by the data receiver is smaller than the reception time from the start of the data transmission until the receipt of information by the reception means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
