<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having a function to address a problem that has occurred when fine particles are used as an external additive, which is equal to or better than a conventional one with a new method. <P>SOLUTION: A toner contains toner particles having at least a binder resin and colorant; and the toner particle has an outer shell layer formed by a reactant of a silicon compound being chemically bound to the surface of a toner base particle. The content (mass ratio) of silicon atoms in the reactant of a silicon compound is preferably 0.5 to 30 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the toner base particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
