摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane keeping controller based on a drive concentration level which apply a lane keeping assist system (LKAS) by changing application time points thereof according to the driver's drive concentration level, thereby supporting the driver in performing safety drive while ensuring the driver's authority over steering operation, and a method therefore. <P>SOLUTION: The lane keeping controller includes a reference steering angle storage means which stores reference steering angles representing points of application of the LKAS (Lane Keeping Assist System) by the driver's drive concentration level, a drive concentration level calculating means which calculates the driver's drive concentration level based on a change in a steering angle and a state of traveling of the vehicle, a control means which detects a reference steering angle corresponding to the drive concentration level calculated by the drive concentration level calculating means, based on reference steering angles by drive concentration levels which are stored in the reference steering angle storage means, and then controls an LKAS drive means based thereon, and the LKAS drive means which drives the LKAS based on the reference steering angle from the control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
