<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change data communication paths without degrading throughput. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication terminal 10 comprises a reception power strength measurement unit 13, a reception power strength variation calculation unit 14, and a path change reference control unit 15. The reception power strength measurement unit 13 acquires characteristic information indicating characteristics to be used for determining a data communication path in which data communication with another wireless terminal is to be performed. The reception power strength variation calculation unit 14 calculates variation in the characteristics by using the acquired characteristic information.
