<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for paper capable of suppressing thickening of a slurry and having excellent yield when recycled particles are used as a filler, and paper obtained by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for paper comprises: a silica composition step to make silica composition recycled particles by compositing silica to recycled particles which uses papermaking sludge as a main raw material and is provided through dewatering, heat-treatment and grinding processes; a recycled particles condensation step to make condensation silica composition recycled particles inclusion slurry by condensing the silica composition recycled particles with coagulator; an addition step to add the condensation silica composition recycled particles inclusion slurry in pulp slurry; and a papermaking step to make paper with the pulp slurry in which the condensation silica composition recycled particles inclusion slurry is added.
