The present invention provides a technique for inviting friends in an online game allowing inviting and managing friends for a multi-player game. A method for inviting a friend in an online game comprises the steps of: a game operator server transmitting a game room generation menu to a user terminal on which an online game screen is displayed, the game room generation menu being a menu allowing an input for generation of a game room for playing a game with at least one other user requested by a user as a friend; when a selection input from the game room generation menu is received, transmitting to the user terminal a game room information input menu and an other users list comprising at least one other user requested by the user as a friend, the game room information menu being a menu for inputting game room information for generating a game room; receiving, from the user terminal, input for game room information from the game room information input menu, and a selection input for a part of the other users list comprising at least one other user; generating a game room in accordance with the received game room information; and inviting, all at once, other users corresponding to the received selection input to the generated game room. |
