<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The modular common rail system (1) comprises fuel injecting units (5), which have a control unit (4), a nozzle unit (6) grouted on a combustion chamber (10) of the internal combustion engine (2) and opening against the spring force in a pressurized manner, and storage units (3) containing storage volumes. The control units of the fuel injecting units have adjusting and control elements separated from the nozzle units and are particularly assigned to the control units.
