An elongated plastic mounting (10) is contained inside the door. The ends of an elongated handle-section (12) have sideways protruding mounting sections (14) each fitting through an opening in the door's outer skin into recesses in the mounting. One of the mounting sections is swivel mounted, while the second mounting section can move to and fro in the cavity. A swivel mounted operating lever in the first mounting is pre-tensioned by a spring and has a lever attachment. The spring section belonging to the second mounting cavity has a ramp surface
