<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device that can easily perform steering control, even when such a partial failure that can detect an operation angular velocity but can not detect an operation angle, in an angle sensor for detecting the operation angle of an operating member. <P>SOLUTION: When a partial failure is detected, a sensor fault determining part 55 switches a control mode from a first control mode to a second control mode. A steering motor 3 is rotationally driven in the direction corresponding to the rotational direction of a steering wheel immediately before the partial failure occurs in the angle sensor 11, if the control mode is changed from the first control mode to the second control mode.
