A destination arrival notifying service system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to use a service through the minimum manipulation by tracking a means of transportation, not the mobile communication terminal of the user. A card reader(20) comes in contact with a card(11) in which the mobile communication terminal(12) number of a user is stored, and then generates the boarding information of the mobile communication terminal. A position measuring unit(22) is attached to a means of transportation to transmit the information about the means of transportation into which the user gets to the card reader, and then periodically measures the location of the means of transportation to transmit the measured results to the card reader. A destination arrival notifying server group(30) traces the location of the transportation means through the position measuring unit, and notifies the user of the arrival to the destination. |
