PURPOSE: A crash box for a vehicle is provided to obtain the rigidity against a head-on collision because rib units are integrally formed inside thereof. CONSTITUTION: A crash box for a vehicle(1) comprises main bodies and a cover plate(30). Both ends of the main bodies and one side of the main bodies facing outward in a lateral direction of a bumper beam are opened. Rib units(20,20a,20b,20c) are integrally formed in the main body, reinforce rigidity, and induce a sequential collapse. The main bodies are respectively mounted in both sides of the rear of the bumper beam corresponding to a side member. |
