<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a state in which a portable device is not set, to securely detect that the portable device has been set, and to prevent troubles such as heat generation in a state in which a conductive body such as a coin is set. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a portable device and an electric power feeding base in which a portable device 1 is set on an electric power feeding base 2 and electric power is carried from a power transmission coil 5 of the electric power feeding base 2 to an electric power reception coil 4 of the portable device 1 to feed the electric power to the portable device 1. The electric power feeding base 2 temporarily supplies AC power to the power transmission coil 5 at predetermined cycles, detects a detection signal such as a current of the power transmission coil 5 while supplying the AC power to the power transmission coil 5, detects an ID signal transmitted from the portable device 1 while detecting a set state of the portable device 1 by a level of the detection signal, and supplies the AC power from the power transmission coil 5 to the power reception coil 4 to feed the electric power to the portable device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
