A process for preparing etherification polymeric sulfonic catalyst includes mixing solutions of polyvinyl alcohol, aromatic sulfonic acid in a solvent, conducting polycondensation reaction in a thin layer of the reaction mass under 75-90 °C with gradual removal of the solvent, crushing and drying the product. The polycondensation reaction is carried out in the presence of aldehyde taken in the amount of 0.06-1.5 mol from the amount of polyvinyl alcohol, drying of the product is carried out under 60-70 °C for 2-4 hours. |
