TECHNIQUE OF RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY FOLLOWING GASTRECTOMY

A technique of reconstructive surgery following gastrectomy comprises the tailoring of the artificial small intestine bowel. The afferent loop of cecum is cut downstream esophagojejunoanastomosis with tight closure of the proximal end of cecum near esophagojejunoanastomosis. The afferent loop of cecum is cut proximal to Braun anastomosis with tight closure of the distal end of cecum over Braun anastomosis using linear stapler Proximat-55. The segment of the afferent loop is folded in the shape of the horseshoe and the artificial small intestine bowel is tailored.
