<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that fingerprint mark removal function cannot be efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: data receiving means for receiving a print job; paper sheet feeding means for feeding a paper sheet specified by the print job; fixing means for fixing an image on the paper sheet according to the print job; storage means for storing information on fingerprint mark adhesion area; and determination means for determining whether fingerprint mark removal processing for removing fingerprint mark(s) adhered by the fixing means to a paper sheet fed prior to forming the image is to be performed according to the fingerprint mark adhesion area.
