A unit for monitoring the state of soil medium is made as a section of radial suspension, fixed to a transport vehicle, comprises a working electrode, made as a rotary-type working element with needles of round cross-section with two cleaners arranged on the both sides of an electrode. The working electrode of a needle is made of a conic shape in such a manner that the axial line of symmetry of each of them is arranged around the tangent to the circle of a radius R. The angle α of submerging the needles into the soil is larger than the angle &bgr; of coming the needles out of the soil.
