<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter separation device capable of improving measurement accuracy and reducing work by reducing troublesomeness of the work and dissipation of lumps of foreign matters and specimen materials during drying. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign matter separation device includes: a container C having an opening D for supplying a solvent and a material; an agitator 1 for agitating the solvent and the material inside the container C; and a lid body B for closing the opening D.
