<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an icon of a portable terminal without any operation of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A store server 10 displays an icon setting screen for setting an icon relating to a specific function, on a portable terminal 40 purchased at the store and connected thereto. The store server 10 accepts an input of icon information defining the icon by a store clerk on the icon setting screen, and sets the icon of the connected portable terminal 40 on the basis of the accepted icon information.
