<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station service device and a station service system for giving a guide according to a service status of public transport. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the station service device includes read means, acquisition means, determination means, retrieval means, and display means. The read means reads information stored in a boarding ticket, the acquisition means acquires information indicating the service status of a ride section based on the information read from the boarding ticket by the read means, and the determination means determines whether or not there is a section to avoid within the ride section on the basis of the information indicating the service status of the ride section, which is acquired by the acquisition means. When determined that there is the section to avoid within the ride section by the determination means, the retrieval means retrieves candidates of an alternative route for the ride section for avoiding the section to avoid.
